Horror Week Day 3 – CW Penney

CW Penney is new to Lestat Horror readers. He is Owner of  NL Horror Con, Hosts Carl’s Creep Show, Co-Host Rantin Ravin Reviews and Co-Owner The Collective. Lets see what he chose for his films.

My favourite franchise is Hellraiser mainly because it has many layers. Yes it is horror but it has a love story to it and basically what would you do for the one you loved.
There are also alt lifestyle aspects to it, pain for pleasure so to speak.
What’s right?, what’s wrong?, it’s not just your average slasher film, it has more substance to it.

The scariest film I ever seen was probably the original IT , I was 7 maybe 8 and grew up hating clowns after seeing it.
Tim Curry didn’t need a pile of CGI to be creepy like in the new IT.
I also have to give a shout out to The Pit and the Pendulum, The Serpent and the Rainbow and the masterpiece Nosferatu. Three of those films were the beginning of my horror journey.
